Hello Friends and Family,

It has been awhile since we last talked. I will try to get you up to speed with our lives. We are plugging away at fundraising, which seems to have plateaued. This is testing our patience, and we are learning to trust in God's timing. Although the funds have plateaued, we are at 38% of our budget. That is exciting, considering we have only been at this for 8 months.

Our Missionary Support team met with us. As they were praying for us, the word excel kept coming over and over. They were praying that our funds would excel and we would be on our way soon. We are eager to see how God is going to excel the process of going back to Germany.

As I think about the word excel, God is already answering our prayers. We have been able to connect with some churches that are willing to let us come share our vision. This past weekend we were in Minot, ND. There is a sale there that I grew up going to. So, we put our display board up and had brochures available. It was neat to see people interested in what we are going to do. That highlight was that we met a women who is from Kaiserslautern! (that is were we are going) It is a small world! She was very excited that we were going to her people and town. She now lives in the States, but it was a thrill to talk to her about Germany and the people.

We also spoke at a little church Sunday morning. It was good to share our vision with the church. The people were receptive and it was fun to visit with them. As we ask for money at churches it is a bit intimidating and uncomfortable. It is also a daunting task to raise 90,000 more dollars. But, after some number punching we realized that if 250 people gave $10 a month for 3 years the task does not seem so large. "That is do-able", commented some people as we shared. When we break it down, it is much more simple and easier to grasp. So, that is what we are focusing on. We want to make this simple.

Please continue to pray for us and we visit churches and connect with people. If you could spare $10 a month we would also appreciate it. Thanks for reading!! We will try to talk more often.
