New Addition!

For those of you who might occansionally check this wondering if it might get somehow updated, today is your day! We have blown this off for a while because we have been busy with a new person in our lives. Her name is Anika Joy. She was born the day after our last update and she has recently turned the three month mark. She is quite a little gal. Anika has brought a lot of joy into our lives. Her name means "hospitable." Let's also note that she is easy to get along with and always good for a smile.

On another note, we are currently busy raising funds for our return to Kaiserslautern and the work at the Elim-Zentrum. We miss K-town and eagerly await the day to go back.

We recently took a road trip to Wisconsin visiting some small Mennonite churches. We were able to see some old comrades from days gone by and share with them. Stone Lake Mennonite, South Lawrence Mennonite and Exeland Mennonite churches were extremely generous to us and our trip to Germany. It is so good to see people who want to invest in the Kingdom of God in foreign places around the world. Many thanks to all of you involved in those places.

There was also a spaghetti dinner at our church in Bemidji. I heard it was a hit! I would like to thank Paul and Carol Nelson right off. You guys rock! I wish I could've been there to partake. I can't forget to thank the church for all they gave. I love the group of believers that meet at the AG church in Nymore.

I'm very encouraged by recent contributions to the spread of the Good News of Jesus in Germany. Jesus is why we give and why we go. Don't forget it!

Bis naechste Mal (until next time),
Mike
